Knowing where to find real wholesale products for niche websites on the internet from home isn’t that easy. You might think you could type in “wholesale products” at your favorite search engine for a host of great resources, but like many other things on the internet, it’s been corroded by dishonest people wanting to capitalize on your interest and traffic… not in an honest way to provide an honest service, but rather to lie, cheat and steal. These sites seek to trick you into believing something is really a wholesale or unique product, and then overcharge you for it or worse, not ship you anything.

Some dropshippers provide such unreliable service you can lose your good customers.

Of course, not all listings at the search engines are dishonest or subpar, but knowing which ones to trust can be tricky.

But there are lots of way to find real wholesale products and suppliers off the internet… products to buy low and sell high.

For example, if you work from home as the webmaster of your own niche website, you can actually shop for products you really like and want to sell, and extract the name of the manufacturer right from the product’s packaging and contact them directly. Sometimes they’ll sell to you directly. Other times they will refer you to distributors.

You can also try to hook up with distributors who often carry thousands and thousands of products available wholesale. Most often, however, these distributors will not sell to you unless you purchase HUGE volume and have an impressive business record and tax ID number.

Sometimes there are businesses right in your local area that you can establish a relationship with. Open your mind and use your yellow pages in ways you’ve never thought of before.

Do you actually know business people that know other business people that may hook you up with a great wholesale buying opportunity? Sometimes finding the right wholesale product relationships mimics that old cliché: it’s not what you know but who you know.

If there’s a category of products you’re interested in for your niche site, such as “Wholesale Automobile Parts” or “Pet Product Distributors” and there are no suppliers in your local phone book, use the national yellow pages at www.yellowpages.com.

There are some really great wholesale product supplies on the internet if you wish to use their service. Regardless of how you find your products, fight to find the right ones at the right price.
